Dear Anet stop making powercreep worse.

And jet again a patch increasing this and that instead of splitting and nerfing the skills. ANET FOR THE LOVE FOR THE GAME START SPLITTING AND NERFING STUFF IN PVP AND WVW. THE DAMAGE NEED A NERF ATLEAST 50% FOR ALL AND SOME CLASSES NEED A 60 of 70 % NERF TO EVERYTHING(boons, condi damage, damage, condi duration, boon duration and healing) power creep if you don't do anything to it, it will destroy a game. Almost happend to wow and it happend to a lot of games that are no more around. If you are looking for a point of blance to aim for, aim for pre HOT balance. Since HOT Anet inceased classes everytime a little that is not bad right. WRONG if you do it for more then 3 years those little increases will add up to a lot.

Cant say that so bad.If you look at it from before hot the damage has increased with atleast 100 time or more before hot if you hit 4 k with 1 attack it was a lot. Now most classes can hit 4k with an autoattack. So you can really say power creep is bad.

@OP these all caps bold statements saying nerf everything don't really provide any useful feedback.

Folks conveniently leave out Wordly Impact damage nerf, holo CD nerfs, mesmer vigor uptime nerfs, warrior rousing resilience nerfs, etc.

If we want to provide useful feedback, be specific. Otherwise it does nothing. Even if the game was at pre-HOT level of power creep, there would still be balance changes. Sometimes there are changes just for the sake of change.

That doesn't make any sense to me. I expect stuff to change in 6 years ofc but i also expect ppl balancing a game for 6 years have some idea of balancing.Yes one ranger skill got nerfed a bit but for that others got buffed in dmg what wasn't necessary at all.I also do not complain about the nerfs i complain about reading dmg increased anywhere. There was not a single skill in this game on any class needs more dmg.Some nerfs are even wrong/bad. Like they give facetank classes more dmg but nerfing active defense like mesmer vigor in a core traitline... How stupid is that.

Giving specific feedback never got any attention from Anet but if you like to read:

Anet is very short sided and trying to fix specific metabuilds in wrong ways, balance around the real issues. Best example is mesmer for this patch:

They should directly nerf condi/ hybrid mirage and not traits that are used by power mirages and no mirage builds (chrono, core) and are no problem on any other build than the lame condi/hybrid mirage stuff. If they wanna do something vs the also pretty braindead double mantra oneshot build they should nerf superiority complex which gives too much dmg on every power build not only mirage (then it makes sense to nerf core traits, but nerfing core traits to fix a few specific builds on elite specs is just stupid). There is still no cd increase on mirage axe skills. Illusionary ambush needs to get a way higher cd (its way stronger than decoy but has half its cd). Only to give few examples.

Nothing, really nothing in this game needs an increase in dmg. Its way to much dmg in this game already.

What bravan said and also in pvp and wvw we don't want pve numbers boons, condi damage, damage, condi duration, boon duration and healing are all to high. Why do you think that there are 1 shot combo's in game. It is because the small increase here and there for the last 6 years at them together and you get a massive increase what we see now. Most autoattacks hit now a day ez 4 to 6 k. At the start it did max 2 k if you were full beserk. That is a increase of 100 to 200% after 6 years. The most damage increase did happen the last 3 years, the moment hot was released. It did increase with 100% in 3 years. So yeah in pvp and wvw there need to be a nerf for boons, condi damage, damage, condi duration, boon duration and healing. All the classes need atleast 50% to get them all to a normal damage level and some classes like mesmer, rev, thief, nerco and engi need a 10% to 20 % extra nerf, becauese they are really the outliers.
