Feature Novelties, type button: Should improvements be made?

If I have no mount, then I get no "mount button" displayed on the surface. Arenanet, why do you still get the "Novelties type button" displayed if you have no item or not placed any item (Chairs, Musical Instruments, Held Items or Toys)? Personally, in this case, I do not want to see anything "superfluous" on the surface that does not (really) interest me. Comprehensibly? What do you think?

Personally i don't care that much but i would make it so mounts and novelties were on aquick menu that could be switched out on the same button (with a quickbind for individual radials) since you can't use them at the same time anyway

I'm just a little bit annoyed by the UI button being there at all, + even more hotkeys, almost every single button on my keyboard has a specific thing going on, what if they eventually bring out food, and tonics into the novelties tab? Soon enough we'll end up with so much UI, and so many buttons to press for various things, I think it's best if they find some way to design that better. UI design is very important.
