Equinox torch is to bright!

Please make the equinox torch less bright. At least put it out when it is stowed. I cant even equip it in high contrast areas casue it almost blinds me. I went through a lot of trouble to get this thing and I want to be able to use it.

I really like it! The whole set is nice and I've already purchased more than one skin from the set, but torch was the first!

I picked the torch because it was so bright. Then I bought a sword to have a matching set. May have to get an axe, too.

I also like it just the way it is, especially the brightness.

It isn't necessarily bright but It's the only one that gives off white light or closest to white light. There are some others that are more blueish like the alchemist torch.

I like the glow to be honest.

Oh and the ground in some areas of the game is just ridiculously reflective.

It is sort of weird that it's always on.

Meh I'm a mighty warrior who routinely gets hit by powerful enemies and periodically gets set on fire, by this point I'm prolly tough enough that a forever burning torch on my hip is nothing lol

I am in agreement. I was not expecting the floor being so bright while its stowed. Surely this is a glitch that will be fix....right?

Well, it's been more than a year....(I, personally, would not hold my breath).

I bought it just because it's bright, I'm against changing it because there are too many dim alternatives.

It's handy to have something that can light the edges of nearby terrain when you're in dark places like certain areas of tangled depths or jumping puzzles; that's why we have the flames of kryta torch as a novelty so any char can use it.

No, probably not. It's one of a small number of torches that give off light even when they are stowed. In the big table in https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Light_sourcethere is a list of them.

The brightness while stowed is odd but it doesn't really bother me. Are there any settings you can adjust to help with it getting too bright? I haven't really ever tried to tweak my settings so I can't tell you what this game is capable of :/ The skin is awesome. This is one of the few cases where I went out of my way to get the entire set.

I bought this torch for my 'white glow space-themed' mirage--ITS PERFECT. I loved the glow, stowed or wielded. DON'T YOU DARE CHANGE A THING!!!!
