Why is superspeed not faster than swiftness?

So I've been testing my superspeed vs a guild mate with swiftness in the open world and it's the same speed.

The wiki states superspeed is 100% movement speed while swiftness is only 33% so is this just a well known and ignored bug?

Maybe you applied the same speed on both of you as a shared boon, hence there was no visible difference?

Hm, alright. I didn't realize that's how it works. ;) thank you

    That wasn't the OP's question, though. ;)

"Maximum movement speed is universally capped at 400 units per second; this translates to 136% of base out-of-combat speed, but 190% of base in-combat speed. As such, the capped movement speed can be achieved out-of-combat with a mere 40% movement speed increase, whereas in-combat this requires a 100% increase i.e. Superspeed. Superspeed only makes use of its full 100% increase while in combat. "

    Happy now?

whats 400 Units? I think that part is what confuses me. Whats a unit?

According to wiki, it would be range units. You see the range number on your skills? You can use that as a guide on how far the travel distance is.

That speed limit actually translate to 22.73 mph or 36.58 kph. Looks like outrunning a centaur might not be possible ... http://www.speedofanimals.com/animals/horse

When you are out of combat, Superspeed gives the same boost as Swiftness. The difference is that Superspeed ignores the reduced in-combat speed, while Swiftness takes it in account.

I've read that movement speed caps out of combat at 33% and that SS only works in combat. So because of in combat movement slow down anyways its outrageously underwhelming.
