[Poll] For or Con Fresh start of all servers before world restructuring??

Gentlemen , have a nice discuss with some tea and cookies."Fresh start" means that all servers will be delete or account link to a server deleted and players will be allow to choose a new servers (new or old name).

Not sure exactly what you mean. What would a “fresh start “ do for a bunch of no longer existing servers in the new system???

It means that all servers will delete and remake (or account-link server) (maybe new name) that allow player to choose a new servers (like at the start of GW2)

That..... wouldn't be like the start of GW2. Granted, some players new about each other at the start, but the great majority didn't.

A true fresh start would be random rolls taking nothing into consideration. Which would be vitally flawed.

Won't make a lot of difference because current system is flawed in a way that it require pve players to choose a server as well, doing so, it is hard to determine who is wvwer and who is not wvwer already. Furthermore, it will encourage older players to stack easier and as if these people are not stacking already. Why give them free way to stack server now? Might as well earn money off them.

I thought they said they would only take into account average play time.

Doing anything before the alliances - which will accomplish the same thing - is completely pointless and a waste of both our and Anets time.

No, they will consider xp alliances and other things. It’s best to read their announcement as well as the faq that came out after.

There are no 'servers'. They never were. The separation between worlds has always been virtual, not physical.When alliances come, your only way to choose the world where you go is guilds and alliances. If you didn't pick you allies before the system creates the new worlds, they will be assigned to you by the system.

If you have 1 person telling you this is how we plan on handling solos, but you have several thousand people telling you solos are doomed if they don't join X guild, you're most likely to believe the several thousand.

Anyway, there were other criteria listed at some point for solos, non guilded and small guilds (like their friends list), it just got watered down and blurred by other interpretations of what would happen to those players. The only people that actually know what will happen are those that'll push the button, everything else is just panic, fear mongering and perhaps attempting to build super alliances.

If you're already in a guild and that guild has already committed to an alliance, fresh servers wouldn't make one bit of difference on the day Anet flips the switch.

Reducing NA to 3 tiers would be a far more useful interim measure.

Seems like the whole point of this suggestion is so OP can get on a full server or avoid the transfer cost of getting to another one. There is literally no point to the poll or the idea it suggests.
