Is DD tempest viable for spvp?

I could have sworn someone on the forum used a variant of either core DD or tempest DD.

How is your success? A guy was crying for nerfs and trying to help the guy out.He needs info on the best build for spvp.

I am mostly a pver in terms of ele and its my second most played class, and yes i raided with tempest using air build with the second option not that crit one in air because it got nerfed.

According to what I was seeing on sites with the current "meta" builds the answer would be no. Tempest doesn't have a good build for SPvP, that they would be better off using a weaver build.

It is not strong. You can go for it, but don't expect to kill anything even close to your skill level (a bit overexaggerated). It is very subpar, but if you have fun and enjoy it, go for it! As long as you can adapt your build and your gameplay a bit, you should be good to go.

Does it have to be DD? D/F healbot (mender) still kinda works. I enjoyed S/W or S/F during HoT (with paladin or marauder). Even D/F with FA kinda worked. Nothing great, but as I said - if you like it, try around with it. If you want to play for the leaderboard, don't waste your time.
