I'm glad they brought this character back, but I have a few questions (tenny tiny spoilers)

Job-o-Tron is back! Sorry Hobo-Tron, no no Ho-ho-Tron, or was it Heal-o-Tron? Ah no it's Hero-Tron and he's got a new name: Bait-o-Tron! I am very happy to see that silly golem again, thank you so much! But how did the Tron ended up with Almorra/the Pact? Is the new name permanent or will he go back to being a Hero? Hope to see the golem aid us in the assault against Kralkatorrik like he helped in Battle for LA, after all Golems can't be branded. Seriously thank you so much Anet, I am happy.

My theory: As the refugees from Elona came in, the local job market crashed, so even Job-O-Tron himself was replaced by cheaper elonian labour. Looking for a job, he was picked up by General Almorra Soulkeeper, for the reason you mentioned. He can't be branded, which is a function no human, charr, asura, or norn can fulfill. And Sylvari are often valuable specialists in their own right, so you don't use them as bait.
