WvW needs a aura

Seeing the new aura you get from the new map got me thinking how about getting a wvw exclusive aura from player drop or smc/keep lord drop? Why not?

Ah yes, another aura to destroy the retinas of our petty enemies if they so much as dare glare at us... or could it be - calling forth the almighty god of WvW lag when a zerg of 50 clad in this new aura rock up?

All jokes aside maybe they could tie it to Enrichment infusions? I like the subtle infusions like Koda's Warmth or SAB ones... not some 25 eye bleed stack full glow light-show aura.

If wvw gets an aura, it will have to cost a big amount of tickets plus other wvw currencies. Getting it from lord in SM or players is unfair to other modes, as they dont exactly drop a lot.

That's what WvW needs. More lens flares, particle effects, and other obtrusive glow sticks! Obsidian weapons weren't enough glitter for us. WE NEED OUR OWN CORONA TO BLIND THE EYES OF OUR ENEMIES! #MoreVisualClutter

I would be willing to accept having random motionless arrows impaling the body as an effect, since that isn't consider "glowing." Great, no need to animate them! They can literally be like a prop effect. Super duper trooper, we have arrived at an acceptable middle ground. Get to it ANET. /thread

if it drops it should be account bound otherwise there won't be a difference from other aura items in pve as people with gold will just buy them while the wvw folks won't have them. A much better idea would be to make the aura buyable after 1-2k wvw levels and quite some heroics and badges of honor + 100 gold or something like that (and ofc still acc bound).

More lens flares and particle effects? They should get JJ Abrams on it. He will do a fantastic job.
