I would assume you geared in exotic with stats that would benefit your class . Start from youtubeFractal name(https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fractals_of_the_Mists "") guide , then open LFG-Fractals, tier 1 join any party that is doing dailies or anything below 19(!) this is important as starting from 19, fractals will ask for Agony Resistance. Good luck and have fun.

Ideally look around and join a guild.

End game challenging PVE in this game is found in form of FRACTALS and RAIDS.

To get into fractals:

  • join a fractal in Tier 1 (Level 1-25) and just keep going. There is 3 alternating daily fractals which reward additional rewards. Fractals are divided into 4 tiers (1-25,26-50,51-75, 76-100). Access to tiers is not gated BUT you will not be able to join higher rank fractal groups on your own via the Looking For Group since they will not be select-able until your personal level reaches the next rank.
  • higher level fractals require more and more agony resistance which can only be slotted into ascended gear. The arguably easiest ascended gear to acquire is trinkets from Living World Season 3 maps or other sources. Tier 4 will require ascended armor, but that should be quite a while away for you
  • save fractal relics and pristine fractal relics (pristine are rewarded for daily fractals and can be exchange 10 for 1 ascended ring). Eventually you will want to acquire permanent fractal potions

To get into raids:

  • ideally join a guild which does training runs and just have them take you along and practice that way. It will make everything easier and people will gladly explain things
  • if you want to PUG raids, watch guides on some of the easier bosses, get your desired character raid ready (Snow Crows has raid meta builds per character for example, exotic gear is enough for a start). Practice your character rotation at the training dummy and compare your performance to benchmarks
  • join PUG training runs and get to know bosses
