Having a hard time with my looks

So I am light armor which is making this quite the pain. I played around in the wardrobe for a while with no great success, was just curious if any one can help.

I am looking for as close to possible of looking like a templar from dragon age inquisition. Any one who can share suggestions awesome!!!

The DA templar aestethic compares pretty much with heavy armor sets in Guild Wars 2, which is a bit of a shame, as it would totally make for a great battlemage look. I think the closest you can get with a light armor class would be using the Champion of Tyria outfit. :)

Wow, wish we had armor like that in GW2. Looks really nice. I'd love some general Templar armor looks.

Probably some kind of mix between Human cultural armor, Forgeman armor (Sorrow's Embrace) and Carapace armor (Silverwastes). Those are the "heaviest" looking sets for light armor classes, without getting into outfits and such, at least.

Outfits could work too. Something like the Champion of Tyria outfit or Royal Guard outfit.

Post edited. I used the wrong armor type. Person above this post has a great video with some ideas though.

HoTW armor have similar shape so you could start with that. (seach koda in the wardrobe)The bottom of sorcerer might look better than the bottom of HoTW.Triumphant hero gloves (not the mistforged), seer, or dry bone gloves maybe?

They wear heavy armor, not light. They are not a mage profession. ;)

Obviously some of these are not reasonable to expect you to have, or necessarily even be able to acquire, but unfortunately you're looking to make a look that goes outside the design of the type. Personally, if I were you, and in this case I am because this is how I got that list, I'd just open the wardrobe and start clicking on items until I got a look I was happy with.

I should point out that these are the names of the skins, and they may not correspond to the actual name of the gear that unlocks the skin. You'll want to look those up in the wiki.

Never thought of that chest as I'll sadly never get it ha. But it does look cool!

Try the inquest legpiece or the triumphant legpiece or the ornate guild legpiece that should fit very well for the legs. I‘m not ingame atm so can’t think of anything right now. Maybe try the ornate guild breatspiece and represent a guild that has a sword as emblem ?
