What improvements/upgrades can have ascended weapon/armor/trinket?

What improvements/upgrades can have ascended weapon/armor/trinket? I mean adding more slots and other upgrades that is possible to do.

you can put agony infusions in all but the amulet those have enrichment slot.backpack can have 2 slots and rings 3 in total.

Ascended weapons can have sigils for standard slots, and agony/agony+ infusions for the others. Ascended armor is the same, except you have runes instead of sigils. Backpiece can be infused for an extra infusion slot; rings can be infused and attuned for two total extra infusion slots -- accessories are stuck with one (Thanks Linken.6345). Amulet requires an enrichment, often gained via the laurel merchant, and enrichments offer vastly different effects than infusions, such as +% to gold, karma, experience, magic find, etc. etc.

But backpieces, accessories, rings and amulets of Ascended quality cannot accept universal upgrades and jewels.
