Scepter AA - Make it like Focus 4?

Scepter AA is so unreliable on moving targets. I think it should instantly hit its target like focus 4 does. Maybe lower the damage since it will be so much faster/reliable

Alternatively, it could fire a thin beam, similar in function to guardian downstate 1 skill. Even after buffing scepter auto a handful of patches ago, it's still unfortunately pretty unreliable in pvp :/

This is exactly what every guardian was thinking ever since the Ray of Judgement rework. It either should be made similar to the new Ray of Judgement or similar to the elementalist's scepter air auto attack.

This would be great. I also wish that scepter is less reliant on symbol for damage. As it stands it plays more as a melee weapon.

Anything that changes the sound effect of scepter AA would be an improvement.

I would be just as happy if they just increased the projectile speed.

I am guessing this is mostly PvP players who want this. Scepter is already a very powerful weapon for guardians in PvE, and it is interesting that it is able to compete with melee weapons for damage, and I think that is mostly because of the slow projectile speed, making it less efficient at range, which makes it nicely unique. Any buff to the projectile speed will likely cause a nerf to the damage to maintain balance. Which I think is undesirable, as it just make the scepter in PvE another undesirable ranged weapon, just like nearly all the rest. If you want to be more accurate at range you should probably consider a DH Longbow.

About the only change I would like made to the scepter is an animation update for the auto-attack.
