Question about Anomalies

Keep seeing this randomly all over the place. Anyone know what this is?

they are anomalies and If i remember you walk up to it and you get an achievement.

It is involved with the story from season 3. There is a way to stop seeing it.

They are a side event of the ls3 storyline

Ah, you have witnessed the majesty of LORD JIMMY THE ALL-POWERFUL. (so-named by myself and a friend. :tongue: We wanted to give it a "proper" name, so my friend came up with "Jimmy.")

Ahem. So, that's a ley-line anomaly. You can't click on it, you can't target it, but if you run very close to it, you'll start an achievement chain called Burden of Choice. It has more to do with Living World Season Three's story (I think), but no overt spoilers so you can do it at any time...especially if you want to stop the anomaly from appearing everywhere, even in some cutscenes, which can quickly get annoying.

If you've encountered a Legendary Ley-Line Anomaly running around in the world (the giant, glowing, vaguely humanoid-shaped world boss that runs around in a few certain places), then that's what triggered the little anomaly to start appearing.
