Remnants of Hope [HOPE][NA] Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Event - Nov 3rd - Chalice of Tears

Hello, Remnants!  The Remnants of Hope [HOPE] a multi-game guild is planning to host events on Saturday, November 3rd to support breast cancer awareness in our community and to raise funds for Stephanie McKinney - a brave fighter, who is forced to face the physical and financial challenges of breast cancer. For more information about Stephanie and here fight please visit our GoFundMe page  In GW2, we are planning on showing our support for breast cancer awareness, by completing a particularly difficult jumping puzzle - called the Chalice of Tears. We will have mesmers giving out portals and leading them through the puzzle to help them reach the top, so don’t worry about player experience as this will be a completely guided tour to have some fun and show our support for the cause… Prizes will be available for those who make it to the end!! This jumping puzzle will take place at  19:00 on Saturday, November 3rd and we would love to see you all there! Throughout the evening, there will be a number of cool prizes that can be won (including gem cards), and can be earned through participation - 3 random members that complete the jumping puzzle will win a gem card… Again. Don’t worry about how experienced you are at this, even if you have never before set foot in the Chalice of Tears, there will still be a great chance to earn yourself a prize for taking part! Although this event is going to be lots of fun and prizes will be available, it is encouraged that if you can please donate to Stephanie’s cause! Skip up the Volcano, also known as the Chalice of Tears, is a jumping puzzle inside the Sopor Titanum volcano in Ember Bay. The jumping puzzle's namesake comes from its related point of interest Chalice of Tears. Completing the jumping puzzle awards you with the Skip up the Volcano achievement and includes 4 Ancient Chests and 3 Mursaat Tokens along the way. Refreshing Mists, which appear as smoke venting from cracks in the rock, indicate checkpoints. A blue burst of light will briefly appear around your character when you reach them. You will be revived at the last checkpoint reached upon death.

I've never done the Chalice of Tears before. Will that be a problem?Not at all! Our experienced team of players can help guide anyone to the top!

Are there any requirements to participate?You will need access to the Ember Bay map. You can unlock with the Living World Season 3 Episode 2. Or you can use a Teleport to Friend the day of the event to get to the map!
