[IDEA] a simple idea for wvw improvement

the most prevalent problem with wvw is the inconsistent number of players.
anet can only do so much to balance the population but at the end of the day, players can only play in their own time and this is random for everybody.

wvw has a very huge potential and my 2 cents to this mode is here:get rid of the individual worlds and lock players in one of the 3 teams (red/blue/green) for a season.
now maps will be over crowded this way and there will be queues everyday.
so the next logical thing is to introduce more maps or map clones with diff ip.just like in open world, close the maps with few players so all the open ones are populated equally.

This is already becoming a thing in some sense. ArenaNet has already been working on an "Alliances" system that is much more guild focused and it seems servers are basically getting removed entirely from the game once this update is rolled out.

What are you fighting for in this idea though? For example what will happen with score earned and structures tiered up if a map closes if it does not have enough people?

In this plan, how will people be assigned to colors?

Will it be random?

Will it be by choice?

By guild?

By friends list?

Inconsistent numbers or coverage ? Those two are related but different.

The rest sounds like EOTM, which already does all of that.

The upcoming alliances will try to fix on the population/numbers, but won't do much to coverage.
