Chronomancer Quesions

So I’m currently running a meta chronomancer power build in zerks gear with scholar runes as suggested.

I have a few questions.Do I summon all of my clones and shatter instantly or do I shatter as the cooldowns come available again?

Also I feel very squishy is there somewhere I can practice using my invulnerable timing?

And am I taking the right patch or should I try to go more support? I enjoy Mesmer a lot but I hear that support chono is super difficult and I don’t know if I want all of that on my shoulders.

I enjoy it just need some tips and tricks to be better. ? thanks all.

I’m open to suggestions. Ive Played reaper for a while now and wanted to swap to something different. Even if condo mirrage is better ide be happy to try that aswell. I’m just not sure what to do with builds and such for optimal survival and fractal running.

I love fractals and would like to get into PvP roaming aswell.

I need a bit of clarification here. Are you playing this in...open world? Dungeons? Fractals? Raids? WvW?

Hello. I am maining support chrono in raids and i have to say and I keep finding new things and tricks even after a year. The basics of support chrono are actualy quite easy. Its the additional stuff you can do that makes it complex. You can block atacks for allies, give them stability against cc, pull mobs, provide huge amout of cc....

The basics are easy but if you fail at them (because you dont understand your role etc.) Then you are usless. If you do tge basics then you bring huge amout of power to your party.

He may be referring to this. Fun but hectic build.

But tbh if you can master that you definitely don't have issue with support chrono, especially with fractals where many groups don't suddenly crucify you if not "tanking".

Answer this for me, what's the purpose of the focus over say pistol? ~~What's the role the build fullfills. I'm a little puzzled as to he application.~~Saw the "Raid" prefix.

I mean focus is still pretty decent in mob pulling even though it can have slightly less dps. But yeah I probably wouldn't be bother with focus if there's another support chrono in the fractal group.

Primarily WVW and Fractals and some open world (I know I have to change builds up)

Gocha yea I’ve watched a lot of videos and ran a few tier one fractals. I did enjoy throwing boons around and applying quick/acl. I am going to run some tier one and learn it more and then get into higher up stuff. I am leaning more towards utility support and not really tanking per say.
