Black Screen, game still running in background

I have tried twice now to start playing this game again after a couple of years but cannot. I am able to play as normal for about 10 minutes and then the screen goes black. I played back in 2014 - 2016 off an on and NEVER had this problem. Pretty much all the same hardware. When screen goes black I can hear the game in the background. I know this is NOT my computer because I play WoW and ESO and NEVER have this problem. Once the screen goes black I have NO WAY of getting back to my desktop....I have to shutdown my computer in order for it to work properly again. I know this is a GW2 issue, because I have googled the issue and I see others have this same problem, but there are NO resolutions that I can find. I'm hoping enough players that have this same problem report it so it can be addressed. I'd like to play the game again, but right now it does not seem possible.
