To post an image from imgur, you need to use the "Direct Link" button where the URL ends with ".jpg", and then you use the little "picture" icon above the text entry box to post it, like this below for https://i.imgur.com/jKMYh9j.jpg:

(The above picture dates from some time in the first couple of months after the game launched, when town clothes were a thing, and can't be taken today because the shades are a head armour skin (rather than town clothes) and the dyeable "town clothes" outfit is, well, an outfit, and hides the character's head armour.)
