Missing Mastery Points!

I am chasing core Mastery Points for a while and today I realized that I'm not getting any, even though I did all that was necessary to get them.I participated in killing legendary Karka in Southsun Cove some half an hour ago and allegedly gained 1 MP. But when I went to Masteries panel I saw that the last MP i got doesn't count.I never really bothered counting my Mastery Points but now I was compelled to. So, according to Hero panel where all the achievements are listed, I have earned 40 core Mastery Points but have only 18 at my disposal! Can somebody tell me where are those other Mastery Points and why aren't they available to me?

Your numbers aren't adding up.You may not have done enough damage to qualify for the Queen Karka kill.Post all relevant screenshots; those you have earned, spent, etc.

I don't how much damage I did, but I got the achievement.

Your screenshots don't show Mastery Points you've earned in many cases. Only those with the red 'star' are achievements where Mastery Points can be earned. (And the Insights, not sure why those don't have the corresponding red 'stars', but perhaps because they were added later. Or, maybe the red 'star' disappears after completion.)Looks like you have spent 26 out of 29 earned.

Thank you, I will probably have to do that.My screenshots may not say enough, but that's because I tried to avoid spamming by sending dozens of images.I know that only those with the red star are counted, and I know that MPs for the story are granted only the first time a player completes it.But Karka Queen is on that list that you posted, and that one didn't count.

Perhaps, you had completed that achievement previously. I don't know; what shows up in the recently completed achievements panel?Best you can do is compare the Wiki list against your completed achievements, and add up the MPs.

If there is a discrepancy, hopefully the CS Team can assist.

Was anyone successful with getting points?It's my 1st post here. Today I wanted to gain 2 MP, by passing story for asura for the 1st time.I've passed lvl 10 story for asura and it has shown that 1 mastery point should be received.Also it is shown in my achievments. (see screenshot, 22 points spent)

Before starting I've had 6 points available and still have 6. I'm doing this for getting Pact Commander mastery.

I did re-login, it didn't help.

1) My current earned Tyria MP=31. According to achievements on gw2efficiency. (proof screenshots included below)2) Tyria MP spent = 223) difference is 9, BUT I have 6 on the interface.Can someone help me or support getting earned points back?

The difference comes from the Hero-Category.The mastery points for the chapters of the story are not awarded per race, even if you could think so by the way it is shown.You only get a mastery point the first time you complete a chapter (1-8) the first time on the account.In your case you have achievments for chapter 1 completion three times (Human, Norn, Asura) and for chapter 2 completion two times (Human, Norn).Since you only get a mastery point the first time you complete a chapter thats where difference comes from.

Sadly the achievments of the other races, (and orders) are not updated after you already have completed a chapter on one of the races and still show that they would give a mastery point.

• 8 personal story gives a maximum of 8, 1 per chapter. The display for this is misleading. Completing the story on multiple races will NOT give you additional points.+1 master of heroics

which brings it to a total of 27 so you seem to have forgotten to post another one if you have 28

Your list is missing the Karka queen MP which was posted

An easy way to avoid the confusion with the MP for the personal story would be if they remove the MP in the current achievments and add a new achievment for each chapter.Could look something like.Achievment: Chapter 1 of the Personal Story completed (yeah inventive i know)Reward: 1 MPListing the five Achievements for Chapter 1 (like the meta- achievments of the living story do)
