Losing points on Ranking

I just had a match where player on my team dropped out of the match( yes we were behind but it was still recoverable) but unlike how it has normally worked we still lost Ranking points . Is this new ? Before if you lost a player you didn't lost ranking points as a team, the player that dropped out would lose ranking points but the rest of their team wouldn't. Has anyone else seen this or was this a one off possibly.

it takes 90 seconds of them being disconnected to count, it is meant so people cant just jump out at the last second and abuse the rank system.

Thanks , so they bailed out at the very end of the match but within the 90 second mark, fair enough, still hate the idea of giving up but to each their own as it were.

The 90 second thing means nothing since trolls/match manipulators wont actually DC and will just walk around in circles or jump up and down in the spawn area to make sure you lose rank.
