Math.5123
Great job buffing the class that had incredible burst, mobility and sustained dmg while nerfing the class that only had mediocre burst dmg to being with. Really hit the mark with this one Anet!
ArthurDent.9538
"Shackling Wave: The casting animation of this skill has been increased from just over 0.5 seconds to a little under 1 second to allow for better counterplay. "Huge buffs right there but seriously are you talking about the pve only buffs or the buffs to stuff that no one actually uses because those were the only buffs revs got? Math.5123
"Facet of Nature—Assassin: The power multiplier for this skill has been increased by 100%, and its base multiplier has been increased by 35%."Also, a .3 second increased cast-time before factoring in quickness is laughable at best. Especially when people have issues dodging Mighty Blow.

And sword 4 is a massive nerf in higher level play. Once Steadfast gets emergency nerfed ( Renegade is not allowed to be viable for longer than 48 hours ) the patch will overall be a nerf to Revs. edit: topkek already emergency nerfed
Ario.8964
All the revs were asking for OH sword damage nerfs and buffs to other weps so we could use other OH weapons but anet decided cast times were what needed to be changed. I'm just as frustrated with this as you OP.

Especially when people have issues dodging Mighty Blow.tested this new shiro f2 and I can safely say, imo, it's still not worth using. It's much better to use IO instead and use shiro f2 solely for boon rip. So is it a buff? Yes, it made a somewhat useless passive a little less useless. But does it change the way revs will play? Nah, absolutely not. Also, the increased cast time on s4 is definitely felt and it makes a big difference. Rev got nerfed too, buddy.

The fact that you have to hit mighty blow to get value from the trait makes it awful to play. You could previously push that extra damage from range with zealots embrace or even smite condition. mortrialus.3062
Core guards could be tough nuts to crack at times but I don't really think they needed nerfing, especially before the patch yesterday dropped when Holosmiths were still running around with permanent quickness, crazy sustain and double Elixir S and Boonbeasts. And Boonbeast got buffed yesterday, too.
BeLZedaR.4790
Core burst was never mediocre, but I wouldn’t mind small sustain buffs for it to compensate since it wasn’t broken. Also rev isn’t buffed.
Lincolnbeard.1735
Where is the core guard nerf? Is it the hammer cd reduction or the still amazing glacial heart?Guards are similar to thieves, cry when nerfed, cry when buffed.

The old Glacial Heart trait reduced hammer skills recharge by 20%. Now they moved this to hammer skills in general. At the same time, they greatly reduced the effect of Glacial Heart."The base damage of this trait has been reduced by 50%, and it can no longer critically hit." + higher CDThe build got a very slight buff to Glacial Blow (+17%) but that's negligible compared to the old effects. Hammer never is or was better than GS. Over the last few month almost every core guardian switched to GS from hammer for a reason. The only thing that hammer offered over GS was a high burst setup every 36 secs that typically did not work. This role is much better served with rev, Mesmer or thief to begin with. The GS much better compliment guardian dps, as an AOE cleave. Yes hammer is in a worse position now, but it was not exactly a good weapon before. And yes, Anet hit guardian hard on diversity this patch with hammer and mystic rebuke nerf. That was extremely dumb, but the strongest guardian dps build was not touched, and almost every other class meta build got nerfed.

I have never ever seen a GS core guard this season, while there are at least 1 core hammer guards every game (EU-plat2ish)Hammer is was far superior in every way. 36 seconds for every burst? That's plain wrong. Even with minimal setup you could do massive bursts. I guess you were implying you had to wait with for Judges Intervention but that's pretty pointless. The oneshot potential was huuuge before the nerf. Not to mention the cc abilities (knockback, immob, and aoe cross denial for rez/stomp)Actually never seen a GS guard in proper AT games.

Aww so sweet...Would it be perfect if everyone post only if played the classprofession, including the hate spewing OP against mes and this time against revs?Instead of traiting glacial to reduce hammer, you got that baseline.17% more damage on glacial blow. The 50% reduced damage on trait was for a bunch of professions, not just guard.
