GW Noob.6038
If I have two legendary weapons and I transmute the second with the skin of the first will the second one then have all of the visual/auditory characteristics of the first? For example: if I had the H.O.P.E pistol and the Quip pistol and I transmute the Quip to appear like the H.O.P.E, will it behave exactly as the H.O.P.E does? Cragga the Eighty Third.60
Yes, it should. I have the HOPE skin on several characters. The 'cloned' versions show up as their original level (ascended, rare, or whatever) but you get all the effects: the footfalls, the laser sound effects, etc.
phs.6089
It would. It all inclusive, you change the skin, you get the look, special effects, footfalls etc.
GW Noob.6038
@Cragga the Eighty Third.6015 @phs.6089 Thanks, guys! I was so worried that I would have to do all that massive amount of work twice!

Even if you wanted to do the work twice you cant, since you can only craft 1 of each legendary precursor per account,
windbliss.3158
The only way you can get two of a same precursor is if you actually have the second one drop outright. However this only applies to Gen.1 legendaries, and having two of the same Gen.1 legendary and speaking to a certain Priory member gives you the "Twice-Told Legend" title. However, I think you can't equip them both at the same time (due to the "Unique" property) on the same weapon pair.As for wanting the same effect on multiple characters, it is sufficient to just use the weapon skin from the Wardrobe, preferably applied to an Ascended equivalent. :)
