How to beat boonbeasts?

How to beat these guys? The way they bunker, pair up with damage sure is immense.

HMMit might sound weird but if you manage and he doesnt have LB you could use theRUN FOR YOUR DEAR KITTEN LIFE THE KITTEN OUT OF THERE!!it might not always be the best strategy since Boonbeast can and will try (lol) to hunt you down but you might end up alive after you get to the point on the very other end of the map

S/d thief has better chance of winning Just cuz boon stealing with sword3 +easy engage disengage, still its one of the harder matchups

Any Thief build has absolutely zero chance against Boonbeast, boonrip of S/D does no longer play the slightest advantage as Boonbeast farts boons like crazy while having insanely oppressive dmg while having the best survivability, all that vs a squishy hit and run profession that doesn't even have the "hit" part in it.

The legit advise to OP is never fight Boonbeast as Thief. There is literally no way you can win, no trick to be had, boonbeast will never lose to a Thief unless the player of Boonbeast is extremely bad and the Thief very good.

Steal and corrupt.Boonsteal thiefs and spellbreaker have great matchups against them and holos with the right sigills have good matchups too.As ele. Wall with reflects and hope he hasnt the unblockable up. Otherwise run for your life.

Might sound a bit crazy but have your tried Scourge? You can slot Poison Cloud to help you block projectiles (Althought if they are unblockable that make no difference) and then go on corrupting his boons.

Legit advice is to never fight anything unless it’s already in combat with an ally and at half or less hp, lack of sustain and damage will result in u being downed or ull retreat is the usual result

i think killing them solo would take too long in spvp, in WvW however you can kill anything with a DE+time.

By Melandru's armpits, our team encountered two of them in sPvP and them Rangers are chasing my no do-gooder rear until the end of the game. Can't decap effectively as well since my teammates get wiped out immediately.

When there's a robber, there's a police I reckon.

you fight until 50% make them pop signet of earth or whatever it called soft reset until buff gone then nuke ranger down.

rifle them to death lol
