Gen2 Legendary Longbow - Pharus, thoughts?

In a game where combat sfx can already overpower encounter visibility adding another is a....sigh...never mind...hope you enjoy it.

Not Legendary Enough.It looks like the creative process was abandonned in favor of lowering the workload of the team involved. Re-used assets and no showcase of unique animations.

looks like the chaos bow. not worth crafting imo.

Yeah another Chaos Bow. Extreme disappointment. Good thing longbow is the most meh thing in the game.

It's not a bad bow, but it's not a legendary looking bow. Half the longbow skins already in the game look more legendary than this. Why is the fire-breathing longbow a gemstore/blc item and this the "legendary"?

Clearly it isnt legendary enough when it doesnt at the very least shoot arrows made of living organisms or spirits thereof. Thats the legendary standard for bows right?

You guys are a bit harsh I think. I don't think it's that bad, sure it might be a bit lacking, but in general I like something like this way better than these ultra colorful candy weapons from G1.

It seems the projectile effect is the last thing people complain about. In fact a lot of people like it. But they, like myself, have problems with the model of the skin not being unique enough. It certainly looks fine, but is it legendary? I don't think so, considering there are a few skins that already look similar to this bow minus the effect.

Will wait to see ingame to make a judgement, though my first thought was definitely "Chaos bow?"

Maybe its an introvert legendary, its power doesnt show outwards but inwards. like excalibur in most cases is a shinier generic looking sword.

It's a nice bow skin but not a leg skin :s :s :s

It's definitely not legendary, it's just another shiny longbow...Please Anet, make him shoot shooting stars, put more details and make a incredible transformation when equipped.

I waited so long for it, that's the reason I will make the bow. :)

In an only 5-10 seconds video appearance it is hard to make a judgement, although based on what I saw it lacks the legendary appeal. :/

Yes there was actually a pretty big thread already about the new legendary longbow.

Anyways, from what I've seen so far in the trailer the new longbow is not my style. Kudzu is though. And I like the fact they didn't make another leafy/natury longbow so there is something in it for all of us and matches other styles better. Have to see what it really looks like when it releases.

Anet, can we maybe get a quiver to match that phancy* new legendary longbow ? Would be nice to have a quiver to match it ,shooting white arrows while having a quiver with normal or fiery arrows,not quite nice. Tbh i would prefer a chaos style quiver or even the style of the legendary longbow...i would be ok,not so much,with a ghostly one...So,any chance for that to happen?

Oh crap, I might actually like this one, especially because it's not so over-the-top. But doing pvp... aaarrgggghhh. This is going to be a dilemma.

ill probably be working on this as soon as im done with the story, its simplicity and style suite my SB, and when i make my harrier druid imma run longbow in open world anywho, so win win!

Definitely looks way too much like Chaos bow to distinguish itself...

And here I had high hops after that awesome scepter.... now that looked like it was worked thoughtfully and pulls apart from the other scepters.
