If Sohothin was re-lit by Balthazar, how did that affect the curse of King Adelburn ( using Sohothin's twin Magdhar, sorry if misspelled.) Recall that Rytlock fell into The Mists using Sohothin in an attempt to break Adelburn's curse.

On a much more mundane level; If the Ghosts of Ascalon are freed from Adelburn's curse, it would mean that the Charr legions would not have that perpetual battle to counter them. The Charr would suddenly become much more powerful.

This could lead to Charr civil war, without the common cause to stabilize the triad of Legions. It could also unify The legions and refocus them on conquering everyone else.

That could easily lead to yet another Guild War and we wouldn't need to worry about The Elder Dragons... we might well destroy the world ourselves. Tyrian politics could very well be cast into chaos.

Here's hoping Queen Jenah is the leader she appears to be.

Part of the human-charr truce is that the charr (of Ascalon at least) do indeed have a few too many oppositions to face, but it isn't the only reason and the ghosts aren't the only war they're fighting (Flame Legion, ogres, Branded, and now Renegades and Separatists). But Smodur and Malice (imperators of Iron and Ash respectively) do want peace with the other races, if for nothing other than to fight the bigger threat of the Elder Dragons. Bangar (imperator of Blood) is not pro peace but he - currently - doesn't want to wage war with Iron and Ash combined (he's learned a lesson from Flame's defeat).

Recall that Rytlock fell into The Mists using Sohothin in an attempt to break Adelburn's curse.Currently, not at all. Our attempts with Sohothin were a failure, and Magdaer (you were close) didn't use the same enchantment. We've been too busy to revisit this plotline, however, what with the White Mantle and Lazarus and Balthazar, and now Kralkatorrik. On a much more mundane level; If the Ghosts of Ascalon are freed from Adelburn's curse, it would mean that the Charr legions would not have that perpetual battle to counter them. Tyrian politics could very well be cast into chaos.Again, there are so many other threats out there, that the charr are not about to turn around and wage war with the humans until the dragon threat is settled. Also, the ghost situation is so nebulous in what went wrong (although most players have a good guess as to why) that they aren't going away any time soon. Of course, if you're really worried about stability, we could always find someone to bear the Claw of Khan-Ur
