Exception: c000005 Error: Ive tried everything

Like Ive said above, Ive tried everything. Ive updated drivers, run repairs, uninstalled and reinstalled, and looked for malicious malware. However I still havent been able to stop this random error from crashing my game at random on the daily. Can anyone help me with this?

Try running the 32 bit version of GW2 and see if the crash still happens.If its fixed then you most likley have a faulty memory chip.

Also while 0xC5 crashes are fairly common types of crashes, they can also happen when memory being read is just screwed up in general somehow on a hardware level. When I built this PC this year actually I was ripping my hair out trying to figure out why my more demanding games were crashing constantly but the lesser ones not so much. Turns out one of my RAM sticks was bad right out of the box, but you wouldn't know it from a regular RAM test, it only failed under heavy load, god, what a headache figuring THAT out was

These "memory cannot be read" errors have been happening to me for years. They tend to come right after a new build, and after many times working through this with the support team the answer (for me) is really always the same:

1. Download the latest video card drivers for my machine
2. Uninstall all of the NVidia drivers using Add / Remove Programs
3. Clean out all hidden/remnant driver files using specific software to get at the stuff that isn't removed using the basic uninstall (CS has recommended different things over the years but the latest one they've had me use is called "Display Driver Uninstaller." It requires you to run it in safe mode.)
4. Restart. Install the video card drivers again, using the option to "Perform a clean install"

It always restores stability for me for awhile, until inevitably a few releases later the crashes start again. Usually end up having to do it 2-3 times a year. This release has been very crashy for me too, with lots of errors other than the memory one and some BSODs, so I've been waiting for some patches to see if I really need to go through this rigamarole now or if it can wait.

It's a bit of a pain but at least it works. Hope this helps.

Because c000005 error is often an error when a program can read or write in memory.And with fake card, the OS think there is a RAM on card but this is a fake quantity and when program try to read, ... no memory.

This is big problem at this time on Web, so many fake card are sell like GTX 1060 - 1070 and this is often just an GT750 with 1 Gb or less.
