[LS4 Spoilers] What if...

It wasn't Aurene that was controlling her body after the Scion & Champion chapter?

What if, after the trials, when Glint asks Aurene to enter a different portal, Glint switched her consciousness with Aurene and sealed her inside the Crystal Cave?

Two randons facts that backup this absurd theory:

  • The very first line that is said after Aurene leaves the room is by Caithe. "Aurene, you feel.... different."
  • Aurene has growth a lot since HoT, but its curious how she is suddently capable of Branding and helping with the Forge as an expert out of nowhere. Same goes for her fight against Krakaltorik, she wasn't only showing courage, but real battle experience at key moments of the fight. Is that just dragon instinct?

Oh lets fess it, thats totally something that Glint could do. Not even losing her body killed her 100% after all.

  • In regards to battle experience, keep in mind that she's been stated to have been fighting Branded off-screen ever since killing Joko, and even before then she fought a branded wyvern above Amnoon, and dozens of Awakened in Istan, Sandswept Isles, and Kourna. She has her battle experience from her own deeds.

With her branding, she was able to share connection with her magic since she was an egg, if you remember Prized Possessions where she gave the Commander some magic, resulting in those three skills. This was very similar to Branding/corrupting.

Lets hope so or we revive Aurene in a different way
Without Aurene we're all doomed for sure!...

Given what Caithe felt when she mind-melded with her? Unless Glint has been, uh... admiring us from a distance, then that's still Aurene.
