If multitool skills are used, it says they can only be used near brandstone, even though and EXHAUSTIVE search has every indicator pointing at that spot.When there is actually a Brandstone present, you can follow the arrows and fine a brandstone site. However, despite being clearly visible, the game continued to insist all multitool skills could only be used near brandstone even though STANDING IN THE IMPACT SITE, and will not allow anything to be mined or marked.At this time harvesting of branstone on Istan is 100% non functional.
