Do the players hear the shouts from my character?

I wonder if the other players nearby can hear the shouts (Warriors , Guardians) from my characters ? It may cause annoyance to them.

Female Norn grunting sound when she gets knocked down... Ugh... Sounds like somebody crying, constipating, barfing, and dealing with severe back pain all at the same time.

We do although i'm not sure that it's every time or not..

Much like Ranger pets don't always pop thier sounds either when using their F2.Jungle Stalkers Mighty Roar being a great example of a skill that doesn't always play a Roar sound effect when used.

Given the fact nearly everyone is now a glowing winged "fashion" monstrosity with a chirping minipet and backpack, I think the voices will be the least annoying thing.

I find this one REALLY aggravating. I think it's on purpose - to make the inconvenience of being cc'd even worse. Like the pity music that plays when you're downed, it seems more like a taunt than sympathy.

Yeah we do and I find it pretty annoying to hear other player characters (especially since everyone picks a female one ugh...) instead of my own character. I'd wish the option to disable player chatter would exclude my character and include character from everyone else instead of including both...

I can hear them... but maybe I was the illusion all along...

On behalf of my warrior I apologize. But you know... shake it off!

There's a setting to reduce the frequency of voice cues from other players, and even mute them, but voices from shouts are skill sounds, so they may be different.

There's a range, tho, and a cap on the number of sounds that can play at the same time. So if they are too far or there's too much going on they many not hear it.
