If I have 1000 condi damage will one second of bleed from any source do the same damage? For example will a bleed caused by a engineer pistol auto attack do the same as a bleed from a thief dagger/dagger 3. Or a trait like in mesmer dualist that causes bleed when your clone crits? Or a trait like Engineenr explosions doing bleed and criple?

Above also forgot to mention that might affect condition damage, so your damage will be all over the place anyway from one moment to the next. 25 stacks of might would boost your 1000 condition damage to 1750 I believe it is. The answer to the question is yes sort of but not really in practice. If you play in a group you might also get boosts from other classes such as pinpoint distribution from the engie.

Unmodified, all conditions will do the same damage if the same condition damage level is achieved. But remember that damaging conditions are stack-based, meaning more stacks = more damage. As others have said, traits will influence damage and duration increase of certain conditions. Runes at certain thresholds will also boost duration of specific conditions; there are sigils that influence duration of conditions as well as one that enhances overall condition damage.

So, when you look at the bigger picture, some classes have traits that allow them to do better at dealing damage with certain conditions than others, but not exclusively, as multiple classes can have the same boost. But also keep in mind generation of might, extra condition damage, duration/damage due to traits and utility skills, etc.

But in general? No, the damage is basically flat, except for duration and stacks dependant on class and weapon(s).
