NA 2019 Monthly Tournament Hype Post :D!!

Hello all! Trying to help bring the hype back into guildwars2 Conquest! I'll be making some post every month with the current teams/up coming new teams trying to make their debut!

1) Team: USAThe North American scene was reduced to ashes years ago forcing a lot of players to give up on the game, however The majority of skilled players remaining decided to stick together and continue to play with one another in order to control any possible threat that might aim to beat them at the finals of the Monthly tournament. Team Like Usa fully stack of heavy hitter/known players aren’t going down so easily even if they decided NOT to play in the monthly they have B and C team prepared to play and win the monthly crown yet again.

• Reckless: Scourge
• Naru: Firebrand
• Helio: Multiclass
• Toker: Thief
• Zeromis:Mirage

Player to Watch Out For: Toker has the ability to change the outcome of an entire fight depending on how good his plays are and how well he can keep up with his rotations. Many times over and over we have seen toker make major plays/moves for team usa allowing them to take the w home due to his perfect plays and timing.

2) Team: Proper english [Gent]

Newly formed team of players that decided to come back into guildwars2 and aim to be the best. With Only a month of properly training as a team they may not have a shot to making it to the finals however with the player roaster as it stands they might very well make it to the semi finals. While this is the most volatile roster on the list, these players are more than likely going to be making an appearance, in some fashion within the Monthly. Their strength comes in their ability to handle 1 vs X on side node, while rotating around classic team fight situations

• Keyba:Firebrand
• Zoj:Core Guardian
• Abelisk:Mirage/Chrono
• Salty Sea Monster:Scourge
• Juice:SoulBeast

Player to watch out for: Abelisk. This monster of a player is able to play multiple version of mirage,chrono and mirage well within the same skill level as the pros. If you see him on chrono just know he won't be going down at all in a 1vs1 so have your team ready to plus that fight for you!

3) Team: Milk Gang

Somewhat new guild/team that’s PvP focus has been slowly been building up on it’s overall roaster. If you haven’t played or been apart of the milk gang then you simply wouldn’t know how or understand how great the potential is within that team. However the draw back at the moment with the milk gang they aren’t fully completed yet. They are struggling to find a strong 5th player that can fill that spot up for them.

• Fahad:Rev
• Halt:Holo
• Roon:Power Chrono
• Crumpet:SoulBeast
• Free Agent/Unknown

Player to watch out for: Fahad- This player is able to not only multi class and hold it down on rev fairly easy but he was also known as one of the best warriors in NA a few season ago as a duelist. With him on Rev and being mechanically in sync with other classes this makes him a major threat and the key player to make plays for his team.

4) Team: Caprey and his goons (Team name is unknown)

Last few Months seems like the young and beautiful Caprey has been building his “perfect” team and with his great leadership he has finally found his amazing 4 players. This team has been playing with each other and winning MOST at’s when queued up as a proper team. However if they want to take this tournament all the way then they need to not troll around during the matches by getting tunnel vision/unfocused.

• Doctor: Mirage
• Hasgard:Firebrand
• Fliction:Holo
• Romano:Scourge
• Vic:Mirage

Player to watch out for: Hasgard. This player has been making some insane plays as a FB with his clutch signet res. Not only is he able to play FB extremely well but he can also keep his head clear and focus on on team objectives in order to get the win for his team.

5) Team: Dollar Shave Club Esports

This team is also known as lycar team in my personal opinion he might very well be the best engi main currently active in NA. This team has been around for a while and has had a lot of insane close games with some of the best teams we seen show in NA within the last year. With the amount of team chemistry and experience they have together this team might have a very high chance of making it to the final and possibly winning it all.

• Lycar:Holo
• Guy:Firebrand
• Ckod:Unknown
• Zol:Rev
• Hannibal:Scourge

Players to watch out for: Ckod and Guy. The Duo of destiny has been a power couple that’s been making some pretty powerful plays especially with Guy On Firebrand and Ckod on whatever class spec is needed to help get dollar shave club a win. Don’t be shocked if you see Ckod making some powerful plays to give his team a major snowball.

6) Team: It's nothing personal [love]

Another fresh new team of players making its first debut in January Monthly Tournament. Last Few At’s this team has entered they practically left every other team they faced under 100 points. With such an amazing burst comp and powerful side node players. This team in my opinion is highly favored to make semi-finals if the team doesn’t fold under heavy pressure or lack of experience.

• Clown:Deadeye
• TheMightyLubu:Reaper
• Drydude:Holo
• Thane:Mirage
• Jenkins:Firebrand

Player to watch out for: Clown. As much hate this dude gets it doesn’t matter because his skills as a dead-eye speaks for themselves. After making top 10 on the leader-board as P/P dead-eye and Now on rifle Dead-eye he might be possibly looking to carry a team to the finals and make dead-eye meta after the amount of hate the class has gotten for a while. With his amount of trickery and insane burst clown is a force to be reckoned with if left unchecked.

There is no hype. State of PvP is terrible. Team USA barely even plays the game but they still demolish everyone.

I hope you are joking because i don't see anyone taking pvp as a competitive mode anymore.

I for one Im very excited about this. Aside from some of the negativity you can find in this forum, I'm glad Anet is once again creating awareness of PvP and I'm looking forward of more to come!

This is what the game mode needs (aside from balance patches being more frequent); we need exposition, we need bringing competitiveness. Fine if you dont want to like it, fine if you want to hate it, but dont spread that hate around, it will only come back to bite you in time and this game mode.

I play solo so I never really made a group for PvP, and most of my guildies are PvEers so there goes my chance of participating, but I sure would have liked to participate as a staff tempest or DH. Maybe one day.

I'm just saying it how it is mate. The only chance any other team has is probably Clown's team because Deadeye is insanely broken and people don't realize it.

Lol since it's simply just yet again 5v5 circlequest. It will just be crickets during the tournament. Same old boring gw2 pvp. Gotta wait for gw1 remastered or gw3 for some decent pvp.

Pvp competitive died around season 5 or 6 in gw2
