Firework or Pack runes for power roaming?

I'm kinda torn between the 2

Ranger doesn't typically need the 25% movement speed from fireworks, and pack has the better stat spread.

If you're on Soulbeast, you won't need Firework if you use Beastmastery. Soulbeast has Birds to provide Swiftness too.

For Druid and Core ranger, Firework can be more useful if you don't want to wear Warhorn.

im gonna go with fireworks, the 125 precision is nice but vigor is more valuable and the uptime is higher although only slightlymovement speed is useless indeed

Just play durability rune as long as you use the WS line. Rugged Growth is just too good and isn't even nerfed in WvW. Also the defensive stats you get from dura are no joke. It allows more offensive stat spreads on your other gear. You don't need vigor on your rune too.

Yea definitely run Dura runes, its perma Protection on a DPS spec, your dodge roll gives prot as well its insane, just run Sicem and youll make up for ANY dmg you lack using Dura runes :D

In WvW usually, I use Rune of Durability. But I tried these days Superior Runes of Fireworks and from my POV they are great. With Durability, I use Smokescale and Eagle.With Fireworks I use Siamoth and Eagle. After playing 3 days on WvW, I nearly tend to think Fireworks it is better. Ofc they are different runes, one is for defensive fights and one for more offensive fights. I like the fact Fireworks has boon duration too, and with Moa Stance you can have might, fury and vigor for more than 6 seconds. Also with an axe, you can easily go to 25 stacks of might long enough to pwn any enemy.In the end, both runes are very good, depends on your style of playing.
