From the Ashes - Sniper no Sniping not possible (New bug)

The From the Ashes instance was reworked to be a little more forgiving with the October 18th update. The sniper goes straight to the middle after the second platform instead of onto the third platform now as well.

As such, it's currently impossible to complete this achievement. You complete the instance, eligibility for the achievement never goes away. If you leave the instance, you move onto the next story step.

It seems that the achievement is looking for a trigger that's checked off when she goes to the third branded platform, which no longer happens since the rework.

Rather irritated considering that this is a rather long episode.

Just an update: I played this again using replay episode, and replay instance for achievements. This time she actually -did- go to the third platform.

There seems to be some kind of bug that's making her not correctly go there all the time, considering that two of the four times I've played through this instance, she failed to go to the third location.

Obviously when she doesn't, it's not possible to get this achievement.
