DuiePyle.4398
What do you guys think of using 6 superior runes of divinity, that will raise all your stats by something like 78 points for each stat? B)

B) Generally speaking there are better options out there. All-stat sets will tend to make you tankier at the expense of damage. Some classes can make this work (mostly classes with access to a lot of healing), but the result tends to be a build that is too low-damage and generalist to be useful in group play. For open world/personal story (i.e. solo play) anything goes, of course. I once played a celestial (all-stat) tempest build in open world. It was practically unkillable and could solo all of the HoT HP champions easily within the time allotted. Good enough, but you could still make a very survivable build with far better damage using other stat sets.
Infusion.7149
A typical power-focused rune boosts stats by 175 total for the 6 rune bonus (225 with adventurer's). As with celestial gear in general, you lose out on power/condition damage generally. With divinity runes + cele you'll be below 1800 power (vs ~2557 wuth full berserker with power rune or 2347 full marauder with power rune) although the crit damage will be respectable at around 197%Basically losing ~ 32% base power by going with cele or ~100 (a large portion of the rune bonus) if rune of divinity. With runes you generally want to look for bonuses you can't obtain elsewhere easily. For example 25% boon duration translates to +375 concentration ; some runes give useful boons such as fury (for PvE) or resistance (for WvW) or 5% to 10% damage bonuses which are multipliers of power such that they are worth more than +100 power. Biff.5312
They're fine for general pve play. Having all stats raised makes for less dps, but more survivability. I believe that's what my level 80 boosted revenant came equipped with, and it seemed fine at least for the interim as I acquired better gear.
