Chasing Tales - You can endlessly re-buy the books.

So, I bought a few of the books early on from Forgemaster Hilina, and then went back a few weeks later and realized the same books were still for sale from the vendor.

The only way to check if I had already bough them was to try and match them up with done / half done achievements. With the tales crossing over several cheevo's its quite confusing.

Combine this with how annoying it is to farm branded masses and each book costing 100 of them, you gotta be super careful.

Once you buy a book it should disappear and should not be re-buyable.

Or at least give you a physical item so you can check against what you already have bought.

You can use the ascended book to track this too.

or search your achievement list for the name like azra, baverne, etc.

OP had already mentioned that in their request for the books to not be rebuyable. I found the book to be quicker than achievement checking.

What I do is I go to my crafting character and do a search on Dragonsblood. Any one that I've finished will show the Heroic Dragonsblood version of the weapon and I know I don't need that book. It's an easy solution to the issue, but I agree. Once you bought one, you shouldn't be able to buy it again.
