Kai.8269
So, perhaps this is not a bug in the strictest sense, but it is a very annoying thing that needs to be fixed.Weapons remain out for far too short a time. I recommend making it a toggle, with no timer, or at least drastically increasing the timer (to several hours). This has a few benefits:-It allows you to show off legendaries without having to reactivate every fifteen seconds, thus making it more worthwhile to have legendaries.-It lets you keep your torches out for dark-room jumping puzzles and the like.-It lets RPers and literally any other person who just wants to display their toons with weapons out do so.Downsides:None.If a lame game like SWTOR can have this... Why can't we?
Drecien.4508
You move slightly faster when weapons are stowed, having to manually stow/unstow would be counterintuitive.
Kai.8269
It's so minor, I never noticed, in three years of playing. Maybe eliminate that, then, if it's so infinitesimal, and make us run fast all the time outside of combat? That is sheer dumb aesthetics.

Kai.8269
Okay, but if someone doesn't /like/ those torches, or have that sword, then what? Some of us put a lot of time and thought (AND money, Anet!) into our design. We shouldn't have to use skins that don't work just so we can do in-the-dark jumping puzzles. That's dumb. There's simply no argument that can defend this. If a lame game like SWTOR can do it, so can we. It's such a simple fix and everyone who has a legendary will thank you for it.P.S., it's already in-game for certain items, i.e. toys.
