Grandmaster marks and shards

I feel like it takes too much time and effort to get all 10 shards just to make 1 mark as opposed to getting 3 marks by doing all chests once in ranked pvp. I hope they either reduce the number of shards it takes to make a mark or reward shards more frequently in wvw.

It's free. But why not 4 shards a week, +33%.

Need to grind a lot to get it. I dont mind grinding for things but i feel like its a bit overtuned for this particular item.

As far as the grind: the same could be said for the clovers given.

Here is the thing. If you are relying on what amounts to a free ‘giveaway’ to get the precursor armor, then it will take you longer.

If you go the other route, you don’t need marks.

It's not supposed to be your sole source of marks. You are supposed to craft them, getting them for free along the way is just a nice little bonus. I'm currently making my second legendary set only through these marks.

A little patience and suddenly you're sitting on a lot of shards. I'm always for more rewards for wvw play, but I am not unhappy with what we're getting now.
