as if new specs are gonna fix the game

gw2 is unfun because

objective based gamebuild based gameteam based gamerole based gameuncounterable braindead skills that can be used by anyone for great reward (steal, phase traversal, judges intervention)

you see how each of these layers strips away the skill requirement and adds yet another circumstance to the game

you might be X class/build but you die to Y guy because he happens to play your counter, not because he's better, or because he happens to play your role. Maybe he's better but you'll never know cus you never even went that far. Huge difference between a 1v1 build and a team fight build, one guy gets 200k in team fights the other guy gets 600k by the end of the game but you still lose the 1v1. All these issues make games unfun cus they take away player control and influence over the game and give it to a random factor

the only way games are fun is when you remove half of those layers

make classes fixed so that outplaying classes can be skill based and not build based, add some minor variation but with fixed stats/skills for the most part and that way it'll be much easier to balance the game as you just balance the classes relative to each otherremove objectives and make it a kill based game

you can still leave some of those layers but not all of them ,team based game is "OK" even if it'll still be frustrating at times but at least when u meet a guy playing X class you know what to expect and it's up to outplaying each other not to cheesing each other and when u get rid of braindead skills then it'll be easier to consider ganks as well and when the player matters more than the team/circumstance suddenly the game will feel more fun
