WvW zerging condi scrapper or engie?

What's more useful with gyros and would anyone care to share some builds? Thanks!

As someone that played condi gyro scrapper pretty much all throughout HoT even when no one else did it I can tell you its worthless for zergs and the new gyros will only help it marginally in the support area.

The problem is the pistols. You need them for condi damage, which pigeonhole you into firearms so you cant really spread out to healer and condi (need alchemy and inventions). It force you to go all out on condi. With the comparable low amount of condis, a zerg cleanse them in an instant. They are just unfit for zerging, meh ranged AoE and only 900 range.

It only served some, very minor, purpose as a sneaky flanker that could get into the backline and surprise blowtorch them to death before they could get close to the melee train. The stomp gyro allowed some kills that few other could secure (so many forgot you could cc it).

That it will be lacking in finishers doesnt really help either.

Vanilla engie would in theory allow you to go apothecary and basicly run a healbot condi build, but then you loose the gyros.

But that is just my opinion.
