LazerusKI.7485
One thing i hate almost as much as i hate zergs are the siege weapons. The usual setup i have seen so far is 3 catapults right in front of a wall which just "drop" the rock in front of them.Thats not how catapults should work...So...why isnt there some kind of build-blocking field around the forts? an area in which you cant build siege weapons? You would need to build them out of range, Rams would need to roll towards the wall while Catapults fire at range like intended. Maybe even give them a buff which increases damage the longer the range is, you charge longer so you could get more damage out of it. Since you couldnt build them right in front of a wall then you couldnt even abuse it, charging it too long or too short means a missed hit. Also why arent there mechanics to protect against certain siege weapons to make it more interesting? spikes and burrows in front of walls to negate Rams, Shieldings to negate Catapults.Thoughts? Dawdler.8521
Dont argue with Anet siege logic. We got catapults that does best in melee range.Arrowcarts that defy the laws of physics in every way.Cannons that shoot artillery shells.Trebuchets that does less damage than catapults.Golems that punch rockets.Etc and so on.
