I want my engineer to feel "engineery" - Boomerangs

When GW2 started, I wanted to run a flamethrower/turret engineer. It feels engineery but not very effective. Viable engineer builds feel more like a warrior than an engineer. So while giving some love to the engineer, how about throwing in boomerangs? They would fit the engineer theme, relatively easy to add and not have to worry about giving boomerangs to other classes and adding 100 skins to the wardrobe.

Changes like that would be done as a new elite spec. not just a Tues. update in my opinion. Also we will probably never see any new weapons added to the game as I think Anet has said as much. So think of a weapon engi. doesn't have yet that already exists in game. For example giving them a staff ,and naming the elite spec. technomancer. As far as the engi. not feeling like one personally I don't see it(that's just me). I do however wish the kits ,and turrets appearance fit that of the races tech you are playing.

Aside from the Tool Kit giving us a Throw Wrench skill, which is already like a boomerang, there's these questions from me :How are boomerangs "engineery"? Would this be a new weapon or kit? Since this would likely be a ranged weapon, what would it offer that the pistol(s), rifle, and/or other ranged kits wouldn't?

Engineer is broad and the class covers almost aspects of it, the alchemist, the specialist, the doctor, the inventor, and even the crash test style of mad scientist. Holosmith has you dabble in a new field of technology, Scrapper is on the survivor side of things and are, supposedly part warriors. Though, everyone's a warrior in its own way. Engineer being the masters of mechanical mayhem doesn't escape it.

Why a boomerang anyways? I almost feel like it's a bait.
