SAB HYPE TRAIN !!!

Around the end of this month, March, Super Adventure Box (SAB) will be here once again. For the players who don't know the annual festival, here'sthe link: SABSo any thoughts for this year ? What do you expect ? Is there going to be any new implementation to this year's festival? Any comments on the SAB last year? Any fresh ideas for the festival? What can and must be added to satisfy our long years expectations?

BONUS: Don't forget to prepare 600 gems for the [infinite Continue Coin] if you still don't have it.

Oh yeah, I'm so hyped to repeat the same content for I don't know what year in a row. What is the hype for if there are no new worlds.

I doubt there will be a lot of new stuff in SAB. It was designed by an arenanet employee no longer working for the company. As I understood it back then it was a personal project he did and it catched on, but with him gone, I doubt it will be taken up by others to continue the work.

It will probably be the same as last year as these festivals now run on on auto-mode. It would be great if they added new worlds but that's probably not going to happen. So I'm going to do the dailies maybe, see if there's something else I want then move on. No Hype here, been there done that.

I'll be very sad if they wasted resources on it again, especially in these hard times :(

If you want the AP, there's an overlay by 'Tekkit's Workshop' you can use as an escort. If not for that i never would've bothered with the tribulation mode

Awesome, I recently installed Taco with all the guides and it is great. So I should be good this year. :)

I expect that, like the other festivals, they will rework the Achievements to add an Annual Achievement for 50 Achievement Points and that'll basically be it for new "content".

I'll probably do that then call it a day. I already have everything else from SAB.

Yea, additively, TacO is the overlay software, and Tekkit is a highly sophisticated developer of markers and addons for TacO.He makes guides for all kinds of collectors and achievements.Worth checking out

Great! Remember when it first came out in 2013. Was a blast and a every unique event among MMO's. Stopped playing in 2014 and recently came back, so what can i expect?

It got polished and they added new achievements and weapons, but for the rest, it remains as it was in 2014. So two worlds with three difficulty modes.

I own both of Moto's Unstable Bauble Infusions, so that should give you an idea on how much I love SAB (and the SAB aesthetic). My avatar is another hint of just that.

Of course, I'd be overjoyed if Anet resumed development on new worlds, and I'd be really happy even if they just added some new achievements and/or new rewards, but honestly, I love SAB so much that I'll just be happy to be able to play it again and do the dailies.

I'd also really like them to make it available to play around the year, even if the achievements/dailies were only available to do during the festival. It's too darn good for me to play only once a year.

But coins and currency are still the same? Have some of them in my bank. Good opportunity to get rid of them.

If they are thinking of implementing something new this year, to the festival, it was created months ago, thus making it irrelevant to the layoffs last month.

No, you're right, after some quick maths I kinda gave up on those. It didn't seem worth the grind to get recoloured skins.

I already have everything I want to get from SAB would be more accurate ;)

At most, we'll get some guild decorations and that 20-years-to-complete annual meta achievement added. Maybe a new weapon color set, if there's enough folks with red weapons. They're likely holding onto a couple reskins in their test client for the year after when the first person gets all red skins.

Would love for World 3-1 to show up, since it has been partially done since September 2013. But given what the festival team worked on over the past year, I rather doubt it. If we ever get even just 3-1 and not the whole World 3, it would likely mean next to nothing added for Wintersday and possibly Halloween, and this year we had gotten Reaper's Rumble, Mad King's Raceway, and the Freezie raid.

afaik, they are still the same, or mostly the same. Atleast the continue coin, the infinite continue coin and the baubles are still the same.

The only reason I do SAB is 'cause it's one. huge. JP!! I love JPs... and if there's achievs to do, or stuff I wish to get with my baubles (the boomboxes) then heck yeah! It's even better- oh, and did I mention I love the concept of a JP-centered festival? ?
