Guild-Missions requirements

Hi developers!I would like to suggest a change in the Guild-Mission requirements.

Would like to see the required 3 people changed to 2 people for the missions. We have a small guild, with people across servers and we struggle with upgrading our guildhall due to this. The missions are well doable with only 2 people as well and it will make it way easier for smaller guilds to succeed without having to ask for help over and over again.

Thanks in advance,Monkey

Have posted similar in the past but will say it again. Let the difficulty of the mission be the defining factor of the min number of players required. Example: Take 10 senties in 15 mins. If one person can do it, so be it, if it takes 10, so be it. Take and hold a tower/keep to T1, however many it takes, it takes. There is no longer any costs to activating a mission so please consider removing the caps on missions. PvP missions are in the same place as WvW. If individuals can do themselves, let them try. So OP +10 from me.

@JJsan.4268 said:Exactly and the WvW ones are the problem for us.Being WvW players, we can escort dolyaks with 2 people instead of 3, we can flip and hold to upgrade a tower etc with 2 people too. Please do something for the smaller guilds out there!

This is in no way me disagreeing with your predicament, but this feedback was given in multiple giant threads years ago. One dev said they don’t cater for small guilds as guilds should be for large groups.

Now, I’m not convinced this is a wider Anet philosophy, but there has zero acknowledgement or movement to make any changes to the system to accommodate small guilds that I can recall seeing. To be honest, guild development appears to be abandoned in general

The more a reason to bring it up again Randulf and Grimm, they might realise that small guilds are a thing, especially after the years that have past now.I will like to see the answer from ArenaNet on this matter. As I do think that the game has and will go through some serious changes which affects how guilds will grow or decrease numbers over the days passing by.

PvP missions have the extra annoyance of counting the queue time against the time limit ...

Too true, that's a seperate thread on its own. I think an easy fix there is adjust the mission times to account for some of the wait time in queue, which seems like it would be just a database field adjustment under hood, over simplifying I am sure but still less work than having the timer hold while not in a matchup.

I would appreciate an answer from ArenaNet on this matter. Small guilds are a "thing"! And most importantly, the focus of which mission are doable for smaller guilds should most definitely not be depending on game-mode in my opinion. As this will put people into playing game-modes they do not enjoy.I do not PVP for instance, but I am a WvW focused player that doesn't mind jumping into PVE for some missions ( which I do ).

@ ArenaNet, poor show for not even bothering to answer.Regardless of the outcome. Just step up and dare to give an answer. Yes, we will look into it ( might take a year or 2 but still ). No this will never happen, bye. Easy as such it can/might be.
