New raids and fractals

I've been hearing people talk about the next raid being soon, but I can never find where they say they heard it. What do we actually know about it? And is anything new going on in fractals just yet?

All "announcements" so far were random dev posts on reddit or forums. Nothing was properly announced yet.

The only thing we know about new raid wing is that it is gonna be "wing 1 lvl of difficulty". This is a nice change of pace as w4 was pretty bland and too easy.

People have conflated several different ideas. What developers said was:

• Raids and fractals are going to release entirely independent of Living World and Expacs
• Expacs & LS will release on a 3-4 month cadence (slightly longer after an Expac).
• A new fractal & new wing are being readied.

Putting that together, it's clear that we should expect to see either/both a new raid or fractal sometime between 22 Sep and 22 Jan (4 months later). That sounds like 'soon' to a lot of people.
