I urge Anet to immediately put an end to this insult to the Mesmer profession. The color purple entirely in itself identifies the Mesmer profession including the mask,

That design of Mask including the color purple are a trademark to the Mesmer professions and must be Respected and be Protected at all costs; with no exception!!

Oh skritt the quaggan up, we got blue masks, the trademark of the guardian, and the green masks, the trademark of the necromancer.And the only people who willingly expose themselves to purple are branded cosplayers.Yes, I’m calling it, all mesmers are kralkatorrik fanboys

@ArenaNet Team.4819 is just “Guild Wars 2” enough, or we do also need to sign up “Guild Wars” and “ArenaNet and NCsoft Family” ?

I've always had trouble receiving emails from GW2, sometimes they come weeks late if at all.

I didn't get an email either, just went to the account page and handled it, that way I can't forget.

I was waiting for this purple mask for a long time - i have even suggested it in the sticky-thread because i would need it for my purple sylvari.

Now since I had already subscribed the GW2 and "ArenaNet and NCSOFT family of products" I only have added GW1 to my list.

Don't know if its enough... haven't get anything yet, neither a confirmation email nor anything ingame. Guess i can only wait and hope to get it.

It's a month away (or more), so I wouldn't be expecting anything for quite some time.

Since i got hella confused too... they send you a confirmation mail (who the hell does that lol) to accept the subscription to the newsletter zzzZZ

No email for me, just go in your gw2 account in setting, where the mask is drawn and set all newletters to on. That way sure to have it.

I admire your efforts and your attachment to the Mesmers :). But now is too late. Already the skills of the mesmers were gifted to other players. Even the "unique" abilities are now better mastered by other professions. So, a mask? I think this is the thing to complete the other professions to mimic the Mesmers: An engineer (or a revenant) with a purple mask sharing Alacrity. Or a guardian with a purple mask sharing Quickness. Or any other profession sharing Portals. Or ....

I think this is a right choice. Next item should be a purple indestructible clone able to fight :#

It says i will get an e-mail confirmation for newsletters. I didn't get one.

I didn't get the email about this, but like other people I've found Anet's newsletters often reach me late. But I checked and both my accounts are signed up for the newsletter so hopefully I'll get the mask sometime in May. (It says you need to be signed up on the 29th April, and then to allow up to 8 weeks after that for the mask to be delivered.)

My main character (who I'm sorry to say is a ranger and not a mesmer) always wears purple, and it's one of my favourite colours so I use it a lot, so I'm sure I'll get a lot of use from a purple mask. :)

Sounds a nice thought on ANET's part.My concern is that though I see the message in my account email preference settings, I cant ever recall receiving a newsletter from ANET including the more recent Beetle racing or this latest one... yet.

I’ve had the newsletters toggled on since launch and no email about the mask, not in junk mail either. In fact I can’t even remember the last time I got a newsletter.

I selected guild wars 2 and 1, and never got a mail.I then selected the "and ncsoft offers" and then i got a confirmation.So i guess we just wait for the masks, and then disable the mail for their adds again.I only want guild wars related news, dont care about their other games

I've attempted to turn on the newsletter but the save button at the end reads "PREFERENCES SAVED" even if I do nothing and then when I do click it (after turning on all three types of newsletters) I get the error message "Some fields are invalid; please fix them." and the page shows me as logged out of my account. After navigating back to the settings, I see that the changes didn't save. I get no confirmation e-mail either.

Did this six times with the same result each time. Any ideas?

What other games? They killed all the others.
