Split this forum

Raids, Dungeons, and Fractals do NOT belong as a single subforum. They are very different content and should be treated differently. They should each have individual subforums.

In the previous forums, there was never enough discussion on any one of the topics to justify splitting the forum up. I expect that trend will continue, and so long as the Fractal and Raid developers still browse the forum and comment I don't personally mind.

There was little discussion because people felt the combined forum was too unfocused, so they took comments that belonged over to General instead.

Its a needless change. Fractals, Raids, Dungeons all are isntanced pve content. And every dev will go to every thread with a diff mindset depending if its fractal raids or dungeon related.

I can't agree. There were few enough new posts on any topic in the identical folder for the older forums. All three belong to "repeatable, instanced content" with the differences being mostly perception and personal preferences.

Fractals and Dungeons were created before trinity was a thing so they require a different mindset and playstyle completely than that of raids

Dungeons and Raids are just gear and skill however Fractals have Agony Resistance to stack that element seperates the preparation of fractals completely

Raids and Fractals get new content from time to time and Dungeons are just the same old tired thing with the same old tired loot and thus its not as active at all

I agree that the should be split up into three different forums however as others have stated they wouldn't be active at all. Raids don't have built in ease of access, dungeons don't get updated and Fractals needs AR stacking so we'd get three completely dead boards instead of a single mildey active one.

Yup, gotta agree with you 100% here. Maybe a Fractal/Dungeon Forum and a Raid forum.

They should make two raid sections. One for general raid discussions and a much bigger one to complain about raids.

Following the same logic we need a separate subforum for each individual fractal and raid boss. It's all instanced PvE content, it's not very different by any measure.

Before raids were announced "dungeon/fractal" forum was dead. "General dungeon discussion thread" was mostly about pizza and other games.

Splitting into 5 person content and 10 person content is a good idea.

Also.. talking about pizza and other games sounds better then what is going on right now.

We hardly need three dead subforums instead of one that is halfway alive.

No, we don't need 3 separate forums for the same community
