Message from my Engineer

My engineer asked me to relay a message. She wants her old flamethrower back. She can't get used to the manually targeted "Flame Blast" skill and requests that in the future please keep manually targets skills to weapon skills 4 or 5. She said she can't be held responsible if she misses a shot the next time a dragon minion attacks the person who decided to remove the auto-targeting system for that skill.

tell your engineer about how stuff in the wild survives by adapting and your engineer is totally screwed if she cant just learn how to use a swanky new targeting circle

I played with flamethrower long before that but I literally didn't notice that it got changed, that's how intuitively easy to use it is.

  • By far, it's "harder" the play with grenades and no one complains about it. With FT 2 you can blast where you want...

I'm not in agreement, but I'm an adamant clicker, as opposed to keybinder. I do agree that the change is mighty confusing, but it makes laying a double 2/4 field ontop of the same monster easier, for more sweet roasting.

Now I wish grenades and bombs received some love though. Flamethrower didn't necessarily require a change. I can appreciate it, but I'd love bombs and grenades to get some appreciation.

  • Interesting. Mine says the opposite. He specifically requests abilities that require high player input. At the same time, he strongly dislikes overloaded skills and resolutely condemns any form of passive boon generation, damage dealing or healing.
