Bloodstone Fen Griffon Player Glitch

I was flying around Bloodstone Fen on my griffon mount when I ran into one of those portals in the air. It changed me into a moa temporarily on my griffon and I feel to my death. Upon going back to a waypoint, I found that my character was stuck on the griffon mount with its animations frozen. I thought it was funny so I jumped around a bit. The game registered me as on the mount, so when I tried to go off a cliff and glide, the frozen griffon mount just flapped its wings before going back to its frozen position. Flapping its wings did not fly up. So death did not get me out of this glitch, nor did waypointing to a new area. I had my mount key bonded to my mouse 4 button, so that remounted and fixed my problem. But I thought this was a weird bug.

It's happening in Bitterfrost if you get frozen, and in Beast of War story as well. Ever since the March 29 (?) patch.
