would be lovely if developers built an incentive to have more Structural Zerg raids in WvW

right now there isnt much reason to defend structures beside SMC and Keeps. would be nice if the developers added something that would be much more of a stronger incentive for players to want to partake in large Structure battles in places other than just SMC and Keeps.

there are some really nice structures that use to lead to some awesome zerg battles. but thats long gone.

Hmm, the problem I see with that is that it rewards you for just standing between SW spawn and Bay and just rushing at each others in senseless kill feasts (like old OS farm) for the rewards. By tying it up to the attack/defend event's you lock it to the objectives, so you actually have to do what WvW is supposed to be about, fight over objectives.

It certainly has some other silly interactions, like zerg of 50 arrives, 2 defenders goes "nope, not going to let them get rewards for this!" and bails. Can't really help that.

True but you would actually have to tag/kill someone to get credit, not just from the event timer.

That makes sense, so people can't just sit inside an defend event for 2 ticks before they're through and bail just for rewards.

Still undecided if Siege should count or not.
