Deleted the character but can't use its name from another account

Good evening.

I've just deleted one of the characters from my account to release the name, so my wife could re-create it on her account. But when she tries to use that name the game says "Name is already in use".

I know about second word, but would be great to use the original one.

Oh, the Hall of Monuments says that the name is available (Error Loading Character).

you need to wait 24 hours after deletion before the name is released and can be used by other players

For completion: what happens is that a deleted character's name is reserved for the owning account in case they meant to recreate their character.
